This page sets out the terms on which you purchase products from Karpas Engineering Ltd, trading as LEGACY Connect.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure all details, descriptions, and prices of our products are accurate.
However, LEGACY Connect is a technical product, and functionality may vary depending on your network setup or machine controller. Compatibility guidance is available on our website, but final suitability remains the customer’s responsibility.
3. PLACING AN ORDER
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract is only formed once your payment is confirmed and we dispatch your product.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and exclude VAT, which is added at checkout.
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and shown before payment.
We accept payment by credit/debit card and other secure methods via our online checkout system.
5. DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day of confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
Delivery times vary by location and courier service. You will receive tracking information where applicable.
We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs clearance, courier errors, or circumstances beyond our control.
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs delays. These are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
If you are a UK consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To cancel, contact us by email within 14 days of receiving your item. You then have another 14 days to return the item to us in unused, original condition with packaging.
Customers must return goods using a tracked or signed delivery service.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the return, via the original payment method.
Items returned used, damaged, or incomplete may be subject to a deduction.
Customers outside the UK may still return items within 14 days of delivery, but local consumer rights may differ. Return postage and any customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
7. FAULTY ITEMS & WARRANTY
If your unit is faulty, please contact us.
We offer a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover misuse, physical damage, or software changes not performed by us.
If the item is deemed faulty, we will cover the return costs and send a replacement or issue a refund.
8. USAGE & COMPATIBILITY
LEGACY Connect is designed for professional users and workshop environments.
It provides wireless file transfer over a local network but does not connect to the internet or cloud services.
The user is responsible for configuring their network to support SMB file sharing.
While we provide setup support and guidance, we are not responsible for integration issues on third-party machines or IT networks.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including production downtime, machine damage, data loss, or business interruption caused by use or failure of LEGACY Connect.
10. PRIVACY
We collect only necessary information to fulfil your order. For details on how we store and process your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from purchases made via our website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
